Introduction to Children's Books Latin poets and poetry of Latinos
While it would be nice to these books during Hispanic Heritage Month (15 September October 15) or National Poetry Month (April) or Latino Books Month (May), the too good to be limited to only those months to share. Poetry Books of the children of Latinas and Latin poets should split and be enjoyed all year round.

Yum! iMmmm! IQU
é Rico! Americas offers aspiring haiku poetry by author, poet and diversity / literacy activist Pat Mora, author of over 25 books for children, including book party celebrating the Day / Book for Children - Celebrate Children's Day / The Da of books. That's not all, by any means.
Each double page is completely covered with vivid and imaginative works of art Rafael López and focuses on the native food for America. Integrated into the work of art on the left side of the spread is a paragraph about the food, its history, as used for the first and much more. Embedded on the opposite side, the two sides in the width is the representation Mora poem about food.
Food, art and poetry inspired are blueberries, peppers, chocolate, corn, blueberries, papaya, peanuts, walnuts, pineapple, potatoes, nopales, squash and vanilla beans. The artwork is stunning, with the impressive poetry and interesting factual information. I recommend this book for a wide range
3 to 11 children aged three love the pictures and the children no older Haiku also enjoy more about the 13 foods. (Lee & Low Books, 2007. ISBN: 9781584302711)
