Recommendation

Silo is a book that I recommend, often young library users in search of a story about the company of animals, especially dogs. As much as I love Sounder, Red Fern Grows where Yeller and these books are wonderful for a mature reader emotionally prepared for the lines of the complex and tragic story.

Although Shiloh solves the problem of animal cruelty, it is written for a younger and to a good end public. Moreover, Shiloh is more than a story about the relationship between a boy and his dog. It is a story that casts doubt on the integrity, forgiveness, judging others, and friendly to people who seem the least deserve.

The characters are real and very Shiloh Naylor emphasize the belief in the creation of regular characters who do extraordinary things. For eleven years, Marty seems mature for her age. His sense of justice and humanity made him the morale of their ingrained parents to question. He is able to make mature decisions about forgiveness, rise above insensitive comments, and get their version of a bargain even if you know the other is not. Marty is a thinker and when he sees a problem, will work hard to find a solution.

Marty is an exceptional child has the potential to overcome poverty, get a modern education, and bring more goodness in the world.
